Obligatory "Pride" Post
Twenty-four years ago, I co-chaired the Pride activities in the city where I grew up, Fort Worth, Texas.
Five years ago last Thursday (June 26th), the US Supreme Court ruled it's not a crime for my partner and I to make love.
May 16th of this year, the Supreme Court of the state of my birth made me even prouder to call myself a nativeCalifornian San Franciscan.
Progress is like that; as much as we feel it should happen at a more rapid pace. We can only pray it doesn't continue at a glacial pace. Being out helps. Being OUT THERE, I dunno.
I've learned that in the last twenty-four years.
