Update on Yogi's BooBoo: CBC says white count is through the roof. Pulled two blood cultures but those take time. Infection from the PICC line insertion Monday? Hell, at this rate septicemia would be a welcome relief.

Will post more when I know it, but don't expect to hear anything until tomorrow.

[EDIT: 2330: BIG shot of Neupogen for the anemia, some nitro to lower BP, and an IV drip of our old friend Vanco.]

hmm they don't happen to be giving him any sort of anti-seizure meds do they? I only ask 'cause I'd used 2 different kinds for their side effects (appetite control/weight loss) and both of them threw me into neutropenia (almost no neutrophils) - Neupogen was prescribed the last time. Just wondering if that anemia could also be from some weird drug interaction.

.... and I bitch about the pain in my leg from the cellulitis. My kidneys are only functioning at 60% and I bitch. I guess I am just ungrateful for what I do have.
