Meh.

One of the errands Dave and I did yesterday afternoon was me stopping by the local Qwest Diagnostics and having them draw samples for the routine blood work Doc wanted.

This morning as Dave was getting up for dialysis at 5:00, I heard the inkjet of the fax machine. Results were in. I was a bit surprised by the A1c. I was expecting worse. Last June, when he broke the Glucovance Rx into it's components, Scott remarked, "That sure is a lot of glyburide. Let's try a smaller dose." So he halved it. Last January's A1c was 6.7. The current was 7.3. I'm waiting to hear back from his nurse to see if he'll kick the dosage back up to where it had been.

GFR calculated out to 83.91. That's great.

Great quote today in one of my QoTD emails:
Among those whom I like or admire, I can find no common denominator, but among those whom I love, I can: All of them make me laugh. --W.H. Auden
