I had some co-workers ask me about rap music or info on Mexican food...umm, just because I'm Mexican doesn't mean that I listen to rap or the ambassador on Mexican cuisine. I also have to remind them that not all Hispanics are Mexican.
Oh, don't get me started on the stoopid assumptions made about "mezzkin" food. I've dealt with too many Bubbas who have zero clue about the differences between, say for example, Sonoran and Jalisco cuisines. For some reason, they think all Mexican food is Taco Bell.
