Heinz Goes Gay in the UK

This is a new ad for Heinz currently running in the UK. What can we do to help them make an American version? Heinz just got my loyalty in a big way.

an American version wouldn't be so direct. I can see how they would do it: probably they'd have a very feminine looking woman either talking with a NYC accent or lipsynching to the deli guy's dialogue. but there's no way they'd have two men kissing on an ad like that.

That being said, I've always thought the NYC accent/attitude was a big turn on. on the right type of guido guy it can be very, very hot.

I love that ad. Lots of my LiveJournal pals have posted it. The theocons are up in arms about it. Bill O'Reilly says, "I just want mayonnaise. I don't want to see two guys kissing."

But truth be told, I don't know if I've ever seen Heinz Mayonnaise in MY grocery store. I've seen Helmanns, Kraft, Duke's, and so on ... but not Heinz.
