No, RMS has historically been pretty clear about referring to the Linux kernel as just "Linux". It's only when people talk about complete distros that he insists on "GNU/Linux".

This statement of his is, in my mind at least, the final self-administered nail in his coffin. If the "patron saint of Free Software" is going to outright say "I am not a supporter of the most visible, most successful, Free Software project in history" ... well. It tells you where his priorities lie.

All the same, I am increasingly liking BSD over Linux, just because of how much less drama there is in that camp.

I haven't received any "you're a fucking idiot, shut the fuck up, you obviously know nothing about software engineering or computer security, don't bother responding to this, I've wasted enough fucking time on you already" love-notes from Theo in a couple of years now.

He's abandoned me. I feel neglected.

(And yes, for people reading this, Theo has sent me a couple of emails over the years with content pretty much identical to how I paraphrased it.)
