Date: 2008-12-13 05:00 pm (UTC)The big differences is the UI. The Mac is nice, unified and generally clean and works. The various environments like Gnome and KDE are still clunky abominations - just less clunky than they used to be. The last time I played with KDE, it felt like they'd finally got most of their stuff up to Windows 95 levels of usability and then I'd run smack into something that made me feel like I was still running Motif.
