The latest in AFA Bigotry: Campbell Soup Boycott.

How 'bout a quick call to let Campbell Soup know that an ad showing a lesbian couple cooking with Swanson stock does not strike you as "inherently evil"?

This is the email that I just sent the Campbell's company:

This morning I read that a small group of anti-gay activists are organizing a phone call and email campaign to pressure Campbell's to pull their recent advertisements that feature a same-sex family enjoying Swanson broth. I would just like to express my gratitude for the company's inclusive ad campaign and encourage you not to allow yourselves to be bullied or intimidated by a small, yet extremely vocal, minority. These protests and boycotts are never effective, and in some cases companies actually see their sales increase while they are being targeted. I hope that Campbell's will be able to demonstrate to these small-minded bigots that basic human decency is more important to them than the prospect of losing the business of people who likely never used their products in the first place. Thank you.
