I vote for Robertson screw heads, for what it's worth. They're almost the Platonic ideal of what a screwhead should be. They're very hard to strip and it's very easy to get great torque with them.

Hex-head screws are a close second. Phillips and slotted heads are some of the worst.

I always manage to strip the robertsons. No clue why. I think depth makes a big difference.

Are these U.S. square heads or Canadian Robertsons? The Canadian version has a small taper to it which helps keep the bit in place and prevent camout. I don't know why proper Robertsons never managed to catch on in the US, though.
