Date: 2009-01-09 01:14 pm (UTC)I'm as cynical about Palm as anyone else... they squandered their huge lead years ago. But I think the Pre is a case of don't-knock-it-until-you've-tried-it. It looks promising; I'll reserve judgment for now.

They just jumped from Windows 3.1 to Xp in one movement.
Just the fact that they could rebuild everything over and admit that their old enviroment is no more, took some balls.
Granted, they still have yet to ship...
