In his latest offering, Craigslist, Weird Al Yankovic pays tribute to The Doors, joined by Ray Manzarek himself on keys. Craigslist is one of four new tracks from Al, and a new album is set to be released next year.

What do you think -- does it stack up to Al's past work? I thought it was entertaining and as always, Weird Al stays true to form.

LOL. Love the spoken word bit, and he looks great in Jim Morrison drag. Is he doing a specific Doors song, or is this one of his "genre parodies"?

I would say it's a pastiche of multiple Doors bits, mostly, "The End" and "When the Music's Over", though not specifically the music, more the tone. Ray Manzarek obviously is a team player here.

I have loved Weird Al ever since I had the 45 of him doing "My Bolgna" (ala The Knack). Fave Al Song is a tie between "One More Minute" and "Dare to be Stupid." Fave Doors, "People Are Strange" and "The Wasp."
