"Snake Oil" Saleman

In cryptography, we've long used the term "snake oil" to refer to crypto systems with good marketing hype and little actual security. It's the phrase generalized into "security theater."

Well, it turns out that there really is a snake oil salesman.

I haven't read the link but I used to sell "snake oil" at the occult shop I worked at. it's 2 parts almond oil to 1 part eucalyptus and 1 part tee tree oil I think.
