As the Anglican World Churns: This Just In

In my Inbox from the Steering Committee of North Texas Episcopalians:

"We have received a copy of a presentation, made by four senior priests in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth to Roman Catholic Bishop Kevin Vann of Fort Worth, in which they seek guidance in making a proposal "that would lead our Diocese into full communion with the See of Peter." They state in their presentation that "Bishop Iker endorsed our report and gave us his 'unequivocal support' to proceed with a presentation to Bishop Vann." Hmmm, and for a while this rumor was discounted as unlikely.

As we know from watching McCain's ads, the biggest problem facing America is an alarming increase in enthusiasm. Impassioned support is a signal that a candidate is not serious. Spirited followers are a sign of inexperience. In fact, just keeping an audience awake is suspect.

Real Americans know that apathy and indifference are the only solutions to our problems. They know that leaders who show any hint of energy or intelligence are to be shunned.

John McCain -- the pro-apathy candidate. Go back to sleep, America.

Good grief the XTube site is Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow.

I added two groups of photos and a short video earlier today and so far all that shows up on my profile page is 1/2 of the first photo group.

Hey Xtube folks, how about doing a paid membership that grants things like priority query access (alá LiveJournal) and whatever other features y'all think would attract folks. Then use all the money to upgrade and expand your server farm.
