It's 344171KB. No earthshaking new features

I'm glad to see they're not taking the opportunity of SP3 to stuff IE7 down people's throats.

I am wondering what this will do to the ... product key flexibility ... of Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs. ;)

They aren't pushing IE7 here, but I suspect that'll be soon.

XP support officially ends in a few months and I can see that being the "final" act. :P

Well, there's "Officially Ending" and really ending. I suspect that Customer Demand (read: Large IT Clients) will force Microsoft to back down from the June '08 date.

Possibly... I just suspect that Microsoft's bottom line is getting to the point where forcing the OS upgrades is probably coming soon.

Hell, my work still has Win2K boxes. We still use Office2K. :P

We need to install Exchange '07 because it interfaces with the VOIP phone system we are getting in a few months, but of course, Exchange '07 won't work with Outlook2k... so I need to upgrade the office installations, which will require XP and most likely require IE 7, etc.

This will end in tears. Mine probably.
