Looks like the path of Gustav is moving to the west of New Orleans - with most of the models tracking toward somewhere in the vicinity of Atchafalaya Bay and Morgan City headed toward New Iberia and Lafayette.

Perhaps it will veer right and slam into FL. Then hit VA with fortitude thereby saving MSY and giving FL that election steeling state more punishment (sparing lives of course they've suffered enough).

The AVNO model has it sliding up to the Western part of the LA coast and then - making a bizarre 90 degree turn to the west for some reason?

That's either a mistake or they've got something WAY different in their modelling than the rest of the models!

I get my weather from the National Hurricane Center. Seems to me that they'd be the ones to go to.

Same Data. Where do you think these folks are getting the individual NOAA models? One is a composite, the other is the individual model results.
