Something similar happened to me while romping around the troll terraces in Stranglethorn. I doubt I'll make it to death knight level though. There's a barrier at 40 I've never been able to cross.
I was about to say that my mom doesn't make me turn off my games anymore but then I remembered that today, I have to schlep up to the parent's house to deliver the new computer I built for them.
