Commentary from THE TELEGRAPH:
What I find interestingly ironic is that the government of the United States has acted quickly and decisively to try and contain the crisis in a manner more socialist (even communistic) than I could ever imagine being adopted in Labour controlled, England (or even the more left wing, Scotland). When Obama is president he will, if he doesn't chang his spots too quickly, be able to introduce all sorts of interventionist, social policies without the Republicans being able to say anything against them without appearing to be complete hypocrites (I know that won't bother them too much but it will make for some interesting slanging matches).

2. If the house of cards collapse even his right wing christians will become socialist, and quote the bible scriptures that make it "God's Will".
3. It will make the GOP a minority party for 40 years.
4. The middle and working class will rise up and eat the rich, the only people George Bush truly represented.
