This morning the scale said 106kg (233.5 lbs).

That took me out of what the Fat Fascists call "Obese" and delivered me into the mere "Overweight".
(BMI ever so slightly < 30 kg/m²)

Now for the next 10kg...

I remember the day I slipped into "normal" waist sizedvjeans. I balled and cried like a baby. I truly understand your triumph! I'm very happy for you!

I've seen that disconnect between weight, size and intake before. I don't know WTF that is.

Oh, and Congratulations.

*cheers for your progress*

And hopes that this means we will get to enjoy quality time with you for a longer period of time.

I just started back to the gym last night and have the same milestones to reach before me, too.

yep. I told Scott, my doc, that I didn't think a BMI 25 target of 88.4kg (195#) was very realistic; I last weighed that at 17 with a incompletely developed skeleton. 90-92kg I think is "possible".

The weight loss is the central part of my glucose control plan and reversing what effects of diabetes I can.

You must be fairly tall!

I'm 108 kgs (nice to see you using the Metric System!), and 1.83m, and have a BMI of 31, so yes - I'm obese! *sigh*

I want to be around 90kgs, even though I'm meant to be about 78kgs - but I'd look friggin' HIDEOUS if I was THAT skinny! *yikes*

Only a couple inches taller: 1.88m

All of Dave's dialysis stuff is set and recorded in kg, so unless I want to start a switch flipping battle on the digital scale, I adjust.

I'm equally comfortable in either system for human-sized measure.

Wow - you are QUITE tall! And cute! And furry! I would be intimidated by your large gorgeousness, methinks! :-)

WOOF!

I do not know where you were when you started, or how tall you are, but seeing the numbers on the scales go in the down direction, instead of the up direction, is a pleasure for almost all of us!
Keep up the good work.
