Steele is that cagey former lieutenant governor fro MD that tried to garner extra votes during the gubernats by insinuating he's a Dem through a bumpersticker and yardsign campaign. The stickers said "STEELE DEMOCRAT" and were intended for disgruntled Democrats rallying behind him. But they were also intended to make people think he was indeed a Democrat. He was called out on it quite loudly.

Yep, should play real well with the GOP rank&file, most of whom spent their life calling Steele & company, "Boy" (or worse). Although, I must admit, the comic potential of Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham trying to sound gangsta would easily fuel an entire season of SNL.

Yeah, this would not have happened if the like of Jesse Helms were still around. I already heard rumblings from a couple of (not very close) friends about how upset they were that 'the black thing' is happening to their own party as well. Of course, I game their system, baiting them and getting them all fired up to the point where I can step back and tell them how much of assholes they are.
