Go here, and enter
.loudtwitter {
display: none!important
}
in the Custom Stylesheet box. Then click 'Save'.

All that will show up is an empty post, no detail.

Too bad it doesn't hide the twitter posts entirely.

For some reason the code didn't work. I still see tweets, sadly.

Must be something weird with your style. The joys of CSS.

THANK YOU WERRY MUCH! I was really hoping not to have to defriend people in order to not have my fpage filled with tweets.

It's too bad they can't force anyone autoposting their Tweets to do so behind an LJ-cut.

They were empty posts with no detail before, except made of text.

WTF! The last time I checked livejournal is for personal blogging, a journal, and you can post what ever the frak you want.

I agree to place the tweets behind an LJ cut but damn, to remove friends off your buddy list because they are using a different medium to update everyone on their activities is real shitty.

Use the scroll bar to move past the post.

Are you saying you want to blog what you want? No problem!

Are you saying we have to feign interest on the minutia of everybody's life? Good luck with that.

The same freedom that allows folks to post what they like allows us to choose what we read.

I for one am extraordinarily grateful for the utility!

Whoa hang on! My reply doesn’t state what Furrbear posted is not useful.

The point I was trying to make was to simply scroll past a tweet post like you would any other post that you don’t care to read.

Geometrician replied that he was grateful for the tool because he was going to start defriending.

Twitter is just another form of blogging to let those that care to know what is going on. So you either accept the posts or move on…

Thank you! (I'm fortunate that only two of my friends does this, both as a daily summary, and one always behind a cut. But, head it off at the pass!)
