Exactly!

So many of the sanctity-of-marriage people's arguments don't hold water. I've been saying these things for years:

If you REALLY want to protect the sanctity of marriage, outlaw divorce first!

If marriage is for procreation of children, force couples to undergo fertility tests, mandate that they bear a child within the first (say) 3 years, and annul the marriage if they don't, forbid marriage of infertile couples, and force married couples to divorce after their kids reach adulthood.

And if you REALLY want traditional, biblical marriage, allow polygamy.

(Also, if you are against homosexuality because it isn't "natural", look at hundreds of species in which it occurs to refute that one - many species that form only short-term heterosexual pair bonds also have individuals that form life-long homosexual ones).
