Something not entirely unlike this happened to me at a Macworld show in the early 90s. The other guy wasn't nearly as shy, though... A couple of minutes after I stepped into his booth and started talking to him, he looked me and said, "You're not here to talk about the products, are you?"
About 10 minutes later we were fucking like crazed weasels.
