I agree. I saw this coming from a mile away. I still think Hillary would have been a better candidate for our community in general. She has done more for GLBT as Sec of State than Obama has done as POTUS. It is sad, but not surprising. One day... there will be a POTUS who gets it... until then... I will be over here with my knitting. ;-)

Even the best candidates are the lesser evil in some regard. You vote for the best option but they're bound to disagree with you on something, even if it is only in priorities, so you continue advocating for your interests regardless of who wins.
