I dont get why this is news, especially here in VA. Some folks need to think for themselves and not listen to their bullshit right wing nut jobs tell them. I dont get why some parents are not letting their kids go to school on Tuesday. Its stupid!
There was a HEATED debate about this at work on Friday. One co-worker was upset that the "guv' mint" would have the gall to make attendance for anything MANDATORY (bypassing the parents), while the other co-worker was scratching his head and saying, "WTF is your problem?"
After the umpteenth go-round, I was wishing the third co-worker who is all "pro-gun" was there, so he could take one of them out.
And of course these are the same people who somehow simultaneously believe that the United States' "best healthcare in the world" is self-perpetuating while not wanting their children to understand the scientific method.
