Depends. Originally, it was as early as Wednesday. Yesterday, it was possibly tomorrow (which I think is far too soon - he needs to be more stable and free of pain first).

Bro, you *know* they will boot him outta there as soon as they can...if the sutures aren't bursting and if they think he can live without a morphine I.V., they'll have him sitting in his wheelchair with his plastic bag of hospital goodies in his lap first thing in the morning! Which could be great for him AND for you...he looks like he's getting ruddy redhead cheeks again :)

the incision starts at the the back of the right hip and swoops across the abdomen to below the navel.

He's been out of the OR for ~21 hours in the first pics and ~45 in the second.
