The Argentine Senate debates approved a proposed bill to legalise gay marriage amid fierce opposition from the Catholic Church.

President Cristina Fernandez had stated that she would not veto the measure if it arrived in her office.

I am hoping that Equality in Marriage will become federal law in my life time, so that Jeff can get survivor's benefits from my social security. Right now he can't even get the burial contribution of $250.
