Slapping a copper plate on the bottom of aluminum fins does not magically make it a copper heatsink.
Transmutation is a wee bit more difficult than that.

Kthxbi

What size do you need?

I have one from Modware. Three heatpipes. Good for 3200+. Original packaging. Never used. Thick copper plate on the bottom. Aluminium fins. Side-mounted fan.

Looking for Cu fins and top mounted fan. I may steal one from a mobo I'm working on and put a watch out on eBay. The damn stock AMD runs to close to the thermal cutoff setting.

DAMN ... that's pretty sad.

Hope you get the copper heatsink you need as quickly as possible, [livejournal.com profile] furrbear.

I have plenty of AMD's aluminum ones, but a model like the Dynatron C62G runs ~20°C-25°C cooler.

Does too! Does too! I saw it on the internet, and they don't let you put it on the internet if it's not true!
