I am very impressed with what he said and how he said it. I am also feeling much less invisible now. A few people seem to think I can't put aside what has transpired in the past eight months. That is not the case. I am very keen on what is at stake here if McCain were to win. That cannot happen.

This dual bitch-slap to Bush and McCain was priceless: "But the record's clear: John McCain has voted with George Bush ninety percent of the time. Senator McCain likes to talk about judgment, but really, what does it say about your judgment when you think George Bush has been right more than ninety percent of the time? I don't know about you, but I'm not ready to take a ten percent chance on change."

That speech was amazing. It was soooooooo great to hear Obama come out swinging, and to nail so many important points in that one speech. He attacked McCain ont he issues, he hauled up the Republicans on their use of the Karl Rove "slime the opponent" playbook, answered his critics who have said he isn't specific on what he means by change, he echoed Kennedy's "we will send a man to the moon" pledge with one for our time ("we will end our addiction to Middle East oil within ten years"), gave Americans some reason to have hope for a better future and challenged all of us to make America a better nation.

Wow.

I thought a lot of Obama before last night, but that speech was just amazing.

If that doesn't make a majority of Americans reject another four years of having an underachieving frat-boy in the White House, I don't know what will.
